Additional LTG Link trips to basketball games and concerts in February
On February 21-22, LTG Group's passenger transport company LTG Link invites you to travel to Šiauliai, where not only the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup Final Four will take place, but also Šiauliai City Birthday celebrations. In order to ensure smooth and convenient passenger travel, LTG Link has planned additional train trips for this weekend.
"In 2025, we organized 80 additional trips – this has already become a favorite tradition among train passengers, so we are continuing it this year. We want to make sure that trips to concerts, sporting events, or city festivals are easy, convenient, and safe," says Kristina Meidė, head of LTG Link.
On Saturday, February 21, the semifinals of the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup tournament will begin at the Šiauliai Arena, and on Sunday, the small and grand finals will take place. Special buses will be waiting at the train station for fans arriving in Šiauliai from various cities, running every 15 minutes to the bus station and Šiauliai Arena. After the events on Saturday and Sunday, basketball fans will be able to return to the railway station by bus, from where additional trains will depart for Klaipėda (9:49 p.m.) and Vilnius (9:40 p.m.).
"We are delighted that, together with LTG Link, we can offer fans more convenient options for traveling to one of the most important events of the season – the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup Final Four. We want the basketball celebration to begin during the journey – making it as easy, safe, and sustainable as possible to reach Šiauliai. We hope that the additional trips will give fans even more opportunities to come and cheer on their team in person and create a unique atmosphere," says LKL CEO Rasa Liuimienė.
It is worth visiting Šiauliai on these days not only for the basketball games, but also for the 790th anniversary of the city of Šiauliai. Visitors and residents are invited to visit museums, take part in the Pietinia Kronikos Gyvai bus tour, and visit the Chaimas Frenkelis Villa Museum.
Four additional trips are planned for February to ensure a convenient return from events organized in Kaunas. On February 13, the city will host a Euroleague game and a Lemon Joy concert, on February 25 – another Euroleague game, and on February 28 – the Natalija Bunkė 360° Arena Show concert. After each of these events, the train will depart from Kaunas to Vilnius at 11 p.m.
