LTG Infra to develop new app for railway maintenance

LTG Infra, the railway infrastructure company within the LTG Group, has entered the active development phase of a new digital solution called “LTG Infra Mobile”. LTG Infra has signed contracts with IT companies Saige Europe and Helmes, who will collaborate with the LTG Infra team to create a cutting‑edge tool for modernising the maintenance of railway infrastructure. The app is expected to replace current maintenance processes, ensuring faster and more accurate execution of work. The app is scheduled for completion within eight months.

“LTG Infra Mobile” will enable employees to record and receive real‑time data directly from the worksite on the railway network. This will reduce the likelihood of errors, speed up data processing, and increase work efficiency, making information more accessible and maintenance work more effective.

“This app will enable our specialists to work faster, more efficiently, and more accurately. It’s not just another tool; it’s a whole new approach to organising maintenance: less paperwork, more actual work, and greater value for our clients,” says Vytis Žalimas, CEO of LTG Infra.

The app enables remote monitoring and coordination of work, reducing the need to return to fixed workstations and enabling a quicker response to unexpected situations. It also helps to manage resources more efficiently. Its simple, reliable interface makes managing tasks easier, reduces repetitive work and administrative costs, improves resource utilisation, and increases overall productivity.
