Celebrate Train Travelers’ Day with 90% Off Tickets

“LTG Link”, the passenger transport company of the LTG Group, invites you to celebrate Train Travelers’ Day, which will be observed this year on Saturday, June 6. A 90% discount will apply to all local train trips on that day.

This initiative is being organized for the third year in a row. According to LTG Link data, passenger numbers reach record highs on Train Travelers’ Day last year, over 33,000 passengers traveled by train, which is twice as many as on a typical day. In light of this trend, “LTG Link” invites everyone to travel by train on the first Saturday of this summer.

“This is a great opportunity to travel by train for both those who have already discovered it and those who haven’t tried it yet. We see that the train-traveling community is steadily growing, so we hope that more and more people will choose the train as a convenient and sustainable alternative to the car for daily commutes or leisure trips,” says Kristina Meidė, head of “LTG Link”.

“LTG Link” offers travelers a total of 24 routes, with as many as 200 trips per day.

Tickets for all local trips on June 6 will cost 90% less. For example, a second-class ticket from Vilnius to Klaipėda normally costs €26.80, but on Train Travelers’ Day, a ticket for that route will cost just €2.68. This discount can be combined with all other discounts (student or senior), but cannot be combined with commercial discounts (group discount).

Passengers can purchase tickets at a 90% discount on the website www.ltglink.lt and via the mobile app. Ticket sales begin today.
