All families are equal

Family is where our life begins.
It’s where we learn not only to walk or talk, but also to understand the world, to feel, to cope with difficulties, and to take responsibility. The concept of family might seem universally understood, but in reality, every family can differ in its structure, origin, stages of formation, or timing. Whatever form an LTG Group employee’s family takes, each one is equally important.

At LTG Group, the term “close family member” includes spouses, partners, biological and non-biological children, adopted children, parents, stepparents, brothers, and sisters. This is especially relevant for unmarried or same-sex couples, and for those raising non-biological children. As a result, more employees can benefit from various organizational perks. All LTG Group employees, when experiencing changes in their family—such as the birth or adoption of a child, welcoming a non-biological child, or the death of a family member—receive the applicable benefits and time off, regardless of their family’s formal status.

The principle of equality—“all families are equal”—is particularly significant for LGBTQ+ couples, as it ensures equal respect and treatment within the organizational environment. It’s also relevant for employees in heterosexual relationships who are not married, allowing them to feel valued and respected within the company.

In 2025, for the first time, the LTG Group team participated in the Baltic Pride parade in Vilnius, wearing red “LTG – All Families Are Equal” t-shirts, expressing support for all types of families and the principles of human rights.
