LTG Group’s passenger transport company, “LTG Link,” is once again contributing this year to more sustainable travel for students attending the Lithuanian Schoolchildren’s Song Festival “Laiku ratu kartu.” Festival participants, adults, and accompanying persons traveling to Vilnius in early July will receive a 60 percent discount on train travel. For children and students, when combined with their applicable discounts, the total discount will amount to as much as 80% off the original ticket price.

“Thousands of participants in the Schoolchildren’s Song Festival will be coming to Vilnius. It is important to us that each of them be able to arrive at the event safely, comfortably, and without any worries, so we invite everyone to choose a more sustainable and affordable mode of travel—trains. May this festival inspire, bring joy, and leave unforgettable memories,” says Tomas Daukantas, Chancellor of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The Lithuanian Schoolchildren’s Song Festival, to be held in the capital from July 3–6, 2026, will bring together more than 24,000 participants and 914 groups from across the country. It is estimated that about 3,000 of them will travel to Vilnius on “LTG Link” trains. Most of the students will travel by rail from major cities—including groups from the Šiauliai School of Arts and the Queen Louise Youth Center in Klaipėda.

“LTG Link” invites viewers to take part in one of the country’s most spectacular cultural events and to travel to the festival in a convenient and sustainable way—by train. Traveling by rail not only reduces the environmental impact but also helps avoid traffic jams and parking hassles in the capital.

The Lithuanian Schoolchildren’s Song Festival will feature concerts by wind and accordion orchestras, as well as song and dance performances that will bring together young talents from across the country and invite everyone to celebrate Lithuania’s vibrant cultural traditions.
