LTG Link has renovated information centers at three major railway stations
LTG Group passenger transportation company LTG Link has completed the renovation of information centers at three railway stations: Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai. After the renovation, these centers have become more modern, more comfortable and even more adapted to passengers with individual needs.
“A train journey begins even before boarding – from the moment a person seeks information or simple advice. Therefore, by renovating information centers, we are striving not only for a more modern environment, but also for even greater attention to passengers. It is important for us that everyone feels welcome and heard, and that the journey starts smoothly. Convenience and clarity are not an advantage today, but a necessary part of high-quality public transport,” says Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Roderikas Žiobakas.
Information centers at Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai railway stations have been renovated in accordance with the unified LTG Link modernization standard, which aims to ensure convenient, easily accessible and high-quality provision of information to passengers. In practice, this means clearly planned spaces, easy-to-find information, and unified solutions implemented across different information centers.
According to Kristina Meidė, the head of LTG Link, the company aims to ensure that passengers throughout Lithuania, regardless of the city and station, receive the same quality of services.
“We are implementing the renovation of information centers consistently, adhering to a unified approach to the quality of services and infrastructure development. It is important for us that passengers feel attention and care throughout the journey, and that the necessary information is available when they need it most,” says the head of LTG Link.
When renovating the information centers of Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai railway stations, great attention was paid to passengers with individual needs – the aim was to make services even more convenient for all residents traveling by train. For this reason, lower tables have been installed in the information centers of the railway stations, ensuring smooth and high-quality service for all passengers. The interior of the information centers, improved space layout and digital solutions used during the renovation will also contribute to the provision of higher-quality services to passengers.
The renovation of the information centers has also updated the working environment for employees. Customer service specialists have been provided with ergonomic workstations, improved lighting and acoustics, and adapted tools necessary for daily work.
