Save 40% on Weekend Train Journeys This July

LTG Link, the passenger transport company of the LTG Group, will offer a 40 percent discount on tickets for local routes on three weekends in July and encourage residents to travel by train more often: the discount will be available on July 11, 18, and 25.

In the summer, when people are actively traveling around Lithuania, the train remains one of the most convenient and sustainable modes of transportation. Since people tend to take more trips and explore different regions of the country during the warmer months, “LTG Link” aims to create even more favorable conditions for local travel by rail.

“During the warmer months, people travel more frequently, so we hope this initiative will encourage even more people to choose the train for their trips. It’s an opportunity to reach various cities and regions across the country comfortably, sustainably, and at a lower cost,” says Kristina Meidė, head of “LTG Link.”

With a 40 percent discount, passengers will be able to save significantly. For example, a second-class ticket from Vilnius to Klaipėda costs 22 euros, but with the discount offered by “LTG Link,” it will cost just 13.2 euros. A second-class ticket from Vilnius to Trakai costs 1.86 euros, and with the discount, it will cost 1.12 euros.

The discount is available for tickets purchased on the “LTG Link” website or mobile app by entering the discount code LIEPA. The discount is valid for travel within Lithuania and applies to tickets in classes 1–3.

Travelers can take advantage of the discount on all “LTG Link” domestic routes. Currently, “LTG Link” offers 24 routes, with approximately 200 trips operated daily.
