Lietuvos geležinkeliai (LTG) is a state-owned group of companies, the largest in the Baltic States in terms of freight, passenger transport and infrastructure management.

One of the Group’s main projects today is Rail Baltica, the largest rail infrastructure project in the history of the Baltic States, which will connect Lithuania and the Baltic States to Western Europe by rail. We are also developing intermodal services and new international rail freight routes.

We strive to act efficiently, smoothly and in unity to create value for those to whom we are accountable – the people of Lithuania. By transporting passengers and freight by train, we protect the environment and manage critical infrastructure that ensures national security.
We are strengthening strategic partnerships between Lithuania and other countries – Poland, Germany, other Western European countries and Ukraine.
Cooperation abroad
We create business opportunities abroad by maintaining and expanding relations with foreign railway companies, business partners and international organisations. We represent the interests of the rail transport sector on strategic, legal and technical issues before national and EU institutions.
