Route without Barriers project

The “Route Without Barriers” Project is an initiative implemented by LTG Infra, aimed at ensuring that train travel is comfortable and accessible for all passengers, regardless of their physical abilities or life circumstances. The project focuses on people with disabilities, seniors, young families with small children, and other passengers who require additional infrastructure support.

As part of the project, various infrastructure improvements are being carried out in railway station areas: station access points are being renovated, new ramps are being installed, pathways are being repaired, warning strips are being added, and pedestrian overpasses are being adapted for individuals with special needs. These measures help ensure safe and convenient movement within station areas and easier access to trains.

An important part of the project is preparing for the operation of new low-floor electric trains, which from 2025 will allow passengers to board and disembark more easily. This is especially relevant for elderly people, parents with strollers, and passengers with mobility impairments. The project is being developed consistently, aiming for long-term impact and a travel experience by train that is accessible, safe, and comfortable for everyone.
